Chief Operating Officer’s Speech to Global Network

The client is a membership organization comprised of independent professional services firms around the world. The client had organized its first-ever global meeting for the CFOs of its member firms. Margaret was hired to write a speech to be delivered at the start of the meeting by the client’s chief operating officer. The goals of the speech were to introduce and generate interest in the topics to be covered during the two-day meeting and to motivate attendees to help move their individual firms toward full implementation of the umbrella organization’s vision and strategy. Margaret worked from materials provided by the client and used past speeches by the COO as a guide to his speaking style.

Remarks for CEO and Head of Global Line of Business to Deliver at World Economic Forum Event in Davos

The client, a professional services firm, was hosting a meeting in Davos in conjunction with the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting to present the findings from major new research. Margaret drafted introductory remarks for the CEO and a 15-minute presentation for the global leader spearheading the research.

Scripts for Video Communications to Employees

A recent addition to the client’s executive management team, with responsibility for its largest global business unit, wanted to strengthen communication with and line of sight for its more than 10,000 employees. To supplement in-person meetings with team members, the executive wanted to produce a series of videos to motivate front-line sales people and share strategy and results. Margaret wrote the scripts based on background materials and conversations with the team’s head of Brand Marketing and Communications.

Business Process Excellence Video Script

The client was rolling out a new quality initiative to improve business processes. To launch a new website for the initiative containing its vision statement, goals, training and tools, the division president planned to tape a video introduction. Margaret wrote the script for the video, which explained the initiative’s importance to overall business success and succinctly laid out its two main goals and the three steps each employee could take to make it a success.
